Fan Story is a free to join website which gives you the chance to take part in around fifty different writing competitions every month.

It is also a great site for getting feedback on your own writing from other members.

The site accepts most forms of creative writing including poetry, scripts and book chapters.

If you are starting out as a writer and hoping to get published then any feedback you can get is going to be a help and the site is well worth joining just for that aspect.

Simon Seeks was launched earlier this year and is still in beta. It's run by Simon Nixon, the man behind Moneysupermarket.com The site are looking for people to write holiday guides.

Your review needs to feature such details as where to eat, the best accomodation, and the best places to visit.

Your reviews will be presented to visitors in the form of a guide and you earn commission when someone visits your guide.

When I was looking at the site they were offering the chance to win a share of £20,000 in competition money.

Method Shop

Method Shop is a content site and they are offering people the chance to submit their articles.  All articles must be original.

It would be a good idea to read through some of the sample articles that are highlighted on the front page. Getting articles published is much easier when you know exactly what kind of work someone is looking for.

I couldn't find any information about payment but they have a PayPal link on there so I presume this is how they will be made.

You can submit articles here.
