Get paid to write your own column

Experts Column are looking for people who want to write for their site. They say that they want articles written to a high standard.  Articles need to be at least 300 words and they have to be your own work.  Payments are made once you have accumulated $5.00 and they're are made via PayPal

The site allows you to use articles that you have published on other sites provided the name credited to both articles matches so you can copy and paste an article in to this site and earn from it in two places instead of one.  However, it's advisable not to duplicate too many of your own articles or you could find yourself being penalised by Google for doing so.

You choose what you write about. It could be news related, how to..., games, health, science, news etc.

Here is a link to the Writing Guidelines:

http://expertscolumn.com/writing-guidelines

It says there that all work has to be original but their FAQ says you can publish the work somewhere else provided it belongs to you.

Write Your Own How to Articles

You would of come across plenty of similar articles in the past. Articles which tell you, step-by-step, how to do whatever and you're likely to have some skills yourself which would lend themselves well to some kind of How to... topic.

I found this site the other days which allows you to publish your own How to.... articles.

Subjects already on the site include estate agency, getting out of debt. insurance and copy-writing but you're not just limited to these. There are plenty of categories to choose from such as well being, careers and family.

Based in the UK, they were set up in 2009 and invite authors to publish as little or as much as they like.

All you need to do is sign up with them and on acceptance of your article they'll send you a contract.

They ask that all articles submitted for use on the site are original and should be between 300-500 words but you can write more words if you need to for clarity of the article.

Writers earn 10% and payments are made quarterly.

If you fancy giving it a look or signing up the links further down the page.

If you want to use this post or any others on your blog, website etc, then do but please tell me before publishing what you'll be using it for and include a link back to my blog.

Make Use Of

I came across this site today called makeuseof.com; they are looking for people to contribute articles.

The site is offering $60.00 for posts by new writers and a $10 bonus if you take a story from the Story Ideas page.  Contributions to the directory were paying $8-10 but they are not currently looking for directory pieces.

A full list of requirements are available on the application page.

Anyone writing for them will be able to promote their own website or blog within the footer of the published article. They have 450,000 subscribers so this would be a good way for anyone wanting more visitors to their own site.

The link you need is:

If you know of any similar sites who pay for contributions then please contact me or leave a comment
