Epinions: Get paid for Reviews

This site has been about for a while now. I remember coming across it years ago when I first started looking on line for writing opportunities.

Epinions want your reviews on just about anything, cars, books, movies, electronics and there's plenty of other categories to choose from.

This site is easier for people from the US to earn from as they can cash out at $10. Anywhere else and you'll have to wait until you reach $100.

Payments are made by cheque and you'll be responsible for declaring any of your extra earnings from this site.

You get Eroyalties added to your account and your income from the site depends on a number of factors. To find out more about this site visit http://www.epinions.com/help/faq/show_~faq_writing

Write Your Own How to Articles

You would of come across plenty of similar articles in the past. Articles which tell you, step-by-step, how to do whatever and you're likely to have some skills yourself which would lend themselves well to some kind of How to... topic.

I found this site the other days which allows you to publish your own How to.... articles.

Subjects already on the site include estate agency, getting out of debt. insurance and copy-writing but you're not just limited to these. There are plenty of categories to choose from such as well being, careers and family.

Based in the UK, they were set up in 2009 and invite authors to publish as little or as much as they like.

All you need to do is sign up with them and on acceptance of your article they'll send you a contract.

They ask that all articles submitted for use on the site are original and should be between 300-500 words but you can write more words if you need to for clarity of the article.

Writers earn 10% and payments are made quarterly.

If you fancy giving it a look or signing up the links further down the page.

If you want to use this post or any others on your blog, website etc, then do but please tell me before publishing what you'll be using it for and include a link back to my blog.

Write Articles for Textbrokers

Before you read on,this is a site open only to residents in the United States so this may not be for you but there are plenty of opportunities on this blog that accept writers from anywhere and everywhere so feel free to take a moment to look around.

Now that's out of the way here's the information you need about Textbrokers.

They pay out at $10 through pay pal and payments are made every two weeks.

You'll be asked to write articles according to their clients needs and once your work has been approved the money will be credited to your account. There's a number of categories you can choose from when you fill out the application form so if you have a particular area of expertise then there should be a suitable one for you.

You'll be working independently and not directly for the site so they require that you have a W-9 form, without one, you can still complete projects for the site, they just won't be able to pay you for it.

Getting a form isn't a problem though, you can just click on the link given on their website and download one from there. It then needs to be returned to the company. You'll find their address on the FAQ page.

You'll also need a 1099 form, the IRS insist on it for when it comes to filling out your earnings at the end of the tax year. The company will send this to you once a year.

Before starting out with this site, you'll want to give the FAQ section a good look. If you want to register go here:

And now would be a good time because they are looking for new sign ups.

And for the FAQ section go here:

Get paid for Articles at How O

I found this site when I was searching the other day. It's called How0. They want people to write articles and this site pays you through the revenue you earn from Google Adsense. You get a 45% cut with the other 45% going to the site and the 10% left over going to people adding comments to your article which is a good incentive, I think, to get people to comment on your articles.

The more you contribute to the site, the more you'll earn, Revenue can increase to 75%.

You have the choice of writing your own articles or using articles adapted from a database you can access from your account. This is a new twist and something I'd be interested to see work so I'll be signing up for this one and will let you know how I get on.

How you go about that is detailed here:

You can also use your articles to plug your websites by including details of it in your account profile.

You can go here to find out more

And if you don't already have one, you'll need to sign up for a Google Adsense account.
