Part time writers required

ACI, a company based in San Francisco Bay, are looking for writers. They are specifically looking for writers who have worked in education or in the business and finance sector.

They pay around $20 a page and each page should work out at around 250 words. This could mean an average of $2500-$5000 a month.

Anyone who is successful in their application will be self-employed so you'll be responsible for your own taxes.

To find out more about requirements go to:

http://www.aci-plus.com/jobs/index.htm

They also need an Editor. For more details about the vacancy use this link:

All Voices

All Voices are looking for citizen journalists to contribute to their site. All Voices offer an incentive programme which encourages you to "build your brand" to become part of the AV Select Media Programme which can pay up to $4.00 per 1000 views.  You get paid according to your total score and rates start at 50 cents for 1000 views.

The site is a good platform for sharing news from you live, and they also invite you to write about subjects which you are passionate about.  The site accepts opinion pieces too.

The site is open to applicants worldwide and you can find out more about how it works here.

Get paid to write

There are a number of sites that will allow you to earn extra money online through writing.  Pay rates and terms and conditions vary from site to site and you can usually choose any subject that you like to write about.

One of my favourites at the moment is Triond. They allow you to earn money online by adding articles, poetry, photos and videos. You earn by sharing in the sites revenues.

They have a low minimum pay out level of just fifty cents via PayPal and payments are made every month. You can also choose to receive payment through a money transfer or by cheque.  The site is getting tougher to earn from but if you promote your article you could earn a decent amount for them over time and you retain the copyright so you can republish them elsewhere.

Payments are made on the 15th of the month and you earn 50% of the sites revenues.

Review Stream

Review Stream is based in the United States and they are currently offering $2 for each review that you write for them.

They are looking for reviews on a number of things including hotels, politics, stores, hi-tech products and pets.

They pay out via Pay Pal once you've made $50 and they also offer a referral scheme where you can earn from introducing people.

I know some people who have had problems getting their reviews accepted so it's a good idea to check their FAQ before you start to find out what they are looking for.

For the FAQ page go to: http://www.reviewstream.com/faq.php
